As of year 2005, there was no Citation Tracking System to evaluate the District’s enforcement and adjudication of its traffic laws. There are several files and databases that contain information regarding actions taken on a citation at several steps in the process but no single system that displays the entire history of a citation from the time it is issued to an offender until it is adjudicated.
