By September 1, 2009, ALL EMS agencies are to be reporting The MATRIS data set.

Massachusetts has completed building the Statewide Trauma Registry and began piloting in April 2007, all hospitals treating trauma patients will be required to submit data to the Statewide Trauma Registry in February 2009; plan to link EMS file to CODES, Outpatient Emergency Department, Inpatient Hospital Discharge, Trauma Registry, Outpatient Observation Stay, and Autopsy Data.
