MO - Missouri
This version of the State EMS Forms was posted on this site on 09/27/2007, and revised by the state on 10/1/2005 . Updated 08/10/2010. Missouri began submitting to NEMSIS in October of 2008. Currently 94.2% of Missouri's EMS agencies are submitting 100% of their run data to their state database. Missouri is submitting 89% of the NEMSIS National Dataset. Per the Missouri web site: "Missouri has a newly implemented, web-based, statewide data system called EMS State Bridge. This gives Missouri's EMS agencies the flexibility to collect their own data and then upload to the state via XML or enter their runs via a web browser using an online run form. The report writing feature allows agencies to define their own reports, publish them to several different formats, and schedule when the reports are to be run and delivered via email. This data mining tool is also available to the State for statistical analysis of the states 180,000 annual runs."Per the June NHTSA Reassessment " The State collects NEMSIS compliant data only on patients with "life threats" as defined by the local agency." This severely limits the ability to analyze the true scope of EMS performance across the state. Even with the receipt of limited data, there is no systematic data analysis process in place."
