This version of the State EMS Forms was posted on this site on 08/05/2010, and revised by the state on 12/02/2005.

The date for the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s EMS Division to be ready to accept EMSIRS v2.2 data is January 1, 2008.  The EMSIRS web-based data entry system will be switched to the new data set at that time.

But users of third-party software (such as Firehouse) may continue to use the original EMSIRS data set until their software is ready to upgrade to EMSIRS v2.2.  They may upgrade to EMSIRS v2.2 at any point after January 1, 2008, but they MUST be using EMSIRS v2.2 beginning January 1, 2010.
